Roberta Ann Labedz

Roberta (Bert) Fuller Labedz passed away peacefully in her home August 8, 2019 at the age of 82. She was born October 8, 1936 in North Dakota to Theodore T. Howe and Margaret (Starken) Howe. She was married September 29, 1956 and was a faithful widow to William Labedz. Bert enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and volunteering her time at the Elks Lodge in Oregon City. Her biggest passions in life were square dancing and spending time with family.
She is survived in death by her three children, Debra Jackson, Ted Labedz, and Anna Zimmer; her grandchildren, Justin Jackson, Nicole Carter, Jesse Zimmer, Caleb Zimmer; and her great-grandchildren, Ava and Anthony Carter.
A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 am Friday August 23, 2019 at St. Patrick Catholic Church located at 498 NW 9th Ave., Canby, OR 97013; reception to follow.

Roberta was a dedicated member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #122 Canby for 42 years. The Department of Oregon is proud to have had her for so many years and she made a difference in our Veterans lives. Thank you for sharing her with all of us.
