"Roy" LeRoy Earle Bentz

Long time Canby resident, Roy Bentz, went to heaven July 20, 2020 after a brief illness. He was born in Nebraska to Lyle and Ella Bentz on 1/2/1933. They moved to Oregon in 1944. He graduated from Oregon City High School and Oregon Technical Institute in Klamath Falls. He married LaVerna (Pug) Woodard, his high school sweetheart, in 1954.
He is survived by his beloved wife Pug of 65 years; his son Jerry (Eileen); daughter Susan Sparks; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and many wonderful friends. He was an active member of Oregon City Evangelical Church and the Canby Cruisers. No service is planned at this time.
