Andrew "Andy" Joseph Krzmarzick, Jr.

Andrew Joseph Krzmarzick, Jr. or “Andy”, passed away on August 2, 2020, in Canby, Oregon.He was born on February 12, 1939 in The Dalles, Oregon to Andrew Joseph Krzmarzick, Sr. and Lillian Marie Sabrowski.
Andy lived most of his life in Canby, Oregon, where he graduated from Canby High School in the Class of 1958.Following high school Andy joined the Army where he served for three years as a truck driver, two of those years he spent in France.
Then on April 23, 1977 Andy married the love of his life, Helen Kelsh.They were married at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Andy worked for the Canby Utility Board Water Department for 29 years.He had many hobbies some of his favorite ones were old cars, detective novels and giving his friends and family a good-spirited hard time.Some of his other hobbies were rock and coin collecting, interest in history, and taking photos of anything and everything he found interesting. He loved to call his grandsons “Hoodlums”.
Andy was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Canby for over 70 years.He spent many years helping serve coffee and donuts on Sundays.He helped with various fund raising dinners and breakfasts; he also picked up bread for the food bank weekly for many years.Andy was a member of the St. Patrick Men’s Club and Cemetery Committee along with the Canby Music Boosters for 10 years.While his boys were growing up he saw both of them become Eagle Scouts and served as a troop leader with the Boys Scouts.
Andy is survived by his wife, Helen Krzmarzick; daughter, Jessica Parrack; sons, James Krzmarzick and Michael Krzmarzick; grandsons, Wyatt and Waylen Parrack; and sister, Ruthann Koch.
Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Patrick Church, in Canby, Oregon - Cemetery Fund.
Andy will be laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery, in Canby Oregon a sacred place he truly loved.

Worked with Andy on the cemetery arrangements for lots of funerals. Met Andy in 1967 when I first visited St. Patrick Church.
