David "Butch" Henry Weber, 65, of Molalla died of natural causes at his home on June 20, 2011.


He was born February 22, 1946 in Portland to David and Frances Weber of the Montavilla area.


He moved to Oahu, Hawaii in the late 70s and moved back to Oregon upon his retirement in 2010.


He was a certified diving instructor and worked in the diving industry during his 26 years on Oahu. Previously, he lived in Portland and worked for TWA and Bell Telephone and bartended at Dahl & Penny's in downtown Portlamd. He loved to shop and collected various Oriental trinkets. He also loved music and old mystery movie.


Survivors include his sister, Patricia Browning of Lafollette, Tenn.; niece, Sherry Abraham of Colton; nephew, Michael Browning of Union Star, Mo. and two coulsins in Salem. He was preceded in death by his parents and half-brother, Edwin Weber of San Francisco.


His family wishes to thank everyone at Evergreen Court in Molalla who helped to take care of him during the last year of his life.
