Polly Anne Jensen, 91, of West Linn, Oregon, passed away January 14th, 2020, surrounded by her family at her residence of Tanner Springs Assisted Living.

She was born September 28, 1928 in Willamette, Oregon to George R. and Pollie L. Gurley, who preceded her in death. Polly was formerly married to Jerry O. Blodgett and then to Lawrence P. Jensen who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Dick (Bobbie) Gurley, George Gurley, and a sister, Sally Shrock.

Polly is survived by her children; Sandra Lindsey, of Vancouver, WA , Michael (Patricia) Blodgett, of Huntington, West VA, Christine (Michael) Birkmeier, of Delphos, OH, Susan Wand, of West Linn, OR, Steven (Danette) Jensen, of Bonney Lake, WA, Jody (Donald) Beaman, of Goldendale, WA, and Scott Jensen, of West Linn, OR; 13 grandchildren, S. Craig (Nina) McCoy, Roger Lindsey, Carl Lindsey, Jared (Mariah) Blodgett, Jeff Jensen, Erica (Nathan) Wagner, Jennifer (Mike) Peterson, Tira (Gerard Fleck) Plumondore, Meghan (Jed) Bursiek, Rachel Birkmeier, Lauren Jensen, John Birkmeier, and Natalie Jensen; 16 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Kelly Gurley, sister-in-laws, Carmen (Kelly) Gurley and Rosalie Gurley, and many nieces and nephews.

Polly was a 1947 graduate of Molalla High School. After raising her family, she attended Phagan Beauty College in Tigard, Oregon where she obtained her cosmetology degree. She practiced as a beautician for several years before retiring.

Polly enjoyed traveling and spending time at the Oregon coast fishing for salmon and digging for razor clams. She loved to swim, sing and dance, she could sing a song after hearing it only once.She enjoyed playing SkipBo and Bingo. Polly was a loving mother who especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

A graveside service at Adams Cemetery in Molalla and a memorial service will be held in the spring.
